Blackview Unveils the Active 10 Pro Tablet with 30,000mAh battery
Blackview has launched the Active 10 Pro, a rugged tablet that builds on the features of its predecessor, the Active 8 Pro. This new model comes with several notable upgrades. As the direct successor to the Active 8 Pro, this model introduces advancements that enhance everything from performance to connectivity.
Key Improvements
Battery and CPU Upgrades
The most significant upgrade is the battery capacity, which has increased to 30,000mAh from the previous 22,000mAh on the Active 8 Pro. Additionally, the charging speed has increased from a 33W charger to a 55W charger, all of which translates to longer usage and fast battery refill.
Coming to the processing power, the Active 10 Pro is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chipset, a step up from the Helio G99 in the Active 8 Pro. This new processor supports 5G connectivity, unlike the 4G-only capability of the previous model.
Camera Upgrades
The camera system in the Active 10 Pro has also been improved. So instead of the single 48MP rear shooter on the Active 8 Pro, the Active 10 Pro features a dual-camera setup with a 108MP main camera and a 20MP night vision sensor.
Also, the front camera is now a Samsung JN1 50MP sensor, a significant upgrade from the 16MP camera in the Active 8 Pro, making it easier to capture high-quality selfies or connect on video calls.
Design and Durability
The tablet keeps its rugged design with IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certifications. It’s resistant to dust, water (up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes), and can handle drops from up to 1.5 meters, a durable feature most needed in tougher environments.
Other Specifications and Features
The Active 10 Pro has a 10.95-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on Google Android 14 with DokeOS_P 4.0. The tablet comes with a 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage (expandable up to 2TB via an SD card).
For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6(AX), USB Type-C, and NFC. Navigation options include A-GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou. The tablet also comes with a large LED camp light and dual Harman Kardon stereo speakers for better sound quality.
Pricing and Availability
The Blackview Active 10 Pro is available in either Black or Orange colors. Although the device has been listed on the company’s official website, pricing, and purchase availability are yet to be known.
