At IFA 2024 in Berlin, Doogee, a Chinese rugged smartphone manufacturer, showcased several new rugged smartphones. Known for their durability and robust features, these phones are designed for users who need reliable devices in tough environments. Here’s an overview of the models introduced at the event.
Doogee V40 Pro
The Doogee V40 Pro was one of the standout devices at the exhibition. It features a 6.78-inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for both work and entertainment. The smartphone is powered by a Dimensity 7300 processor and comes with 16GB of RAM, which can be expanded to 20GB using additional storage. The internal storage is 512GB.
For photography, the V40 Pro has a 200MP main camera, a 20MP night vision camera, and two 8MP cameras – one for wide-angle shots and one with 3x zoom. An additional display on the back shows notifications, battery status, time, and images.
The device is designed to be tough, with IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certifications for water, dust, and shock resistance. The 8680mAh battery supports 33W fast charging, allowing for extended use without frequent recharges.
Doogee V Max Plus
Another notable device is the Doogee V Max Plus. This phone comes with a huge 22,000mAh battery, offering up to 1,540 hours of standby time. It shares the same camera setup as the V40 Pro, including the 200MP main camera, but uses a Dimensity 7050 chip, which is slightly less powerful than the V40 Pro’s processor.
Doogee S200
The Doogee S200 was also displayed at the event, featuring a unique design with aluminum inserts. The device has a 6.72-inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone uses a Dimensity 7050 processor, 12GB of RAM (expandable to 20GB), and 256GB of storage. Its camera setup includes a 100MP main camera, a 20MP night vision camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
The S200 also has a 10,100mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Doogee mentioned that they plan to release a S200 Pro model with a more powerful processor in the near future.
