Fossibot DT1
The Fossibot DT1 is a rugged Android tablet built to withstand tough environments. It boasts a range of network connectivity options including various GSM, 3G, and LTE bands. However, it’s important to note that this tablet is not compatible with carriers like AT&T, Cricket, or CDMA networks used by Verizon and Sprint.
The body of the DT1 is designed for durability with IP68 and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance, and an MIL-STD-810H certification for shock resistance. While a bit bulky at 792 grams, the tablet offers a large 10.4-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution.
The Fossibot DT1 runs on the latest Android 13 operating system and is powered by a MediaTek MT8788 chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but you can expand the RAM by up to 8GB using a microSD card (which will take up the SIM 2 slot) and add additional storage with microSD cards up to 512GB.
For photos and videos, the DT1 sports a dual rear camera system with a 48MP main sensor and a 0.3MP depth camera. There’s also a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. The rear camera features LED flash and can record videos at 1080p resolution at 30fps.
In terms of connectivity, the DT1 offers Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi with support for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, FM radio, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. It also supports various navigation systems including A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo. The tablet comes with a built-in 11,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and is available in black or orange.
