Fossibot DT1 Lite
The Fossibot DT1 Lite is a rugged Android tablet designed to be tough on the outside and easy on the wallet. It shares many similarities with its sibling, the Fossibot DT1, including a large 10.4-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution, a durable build with IP68 and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance, and MIL-STD-810H certification for shock resistance.
However, the DT1 Lite takes a more budget-friendly approach with its specifications. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is less than the DT1. While you can expand the storage via a microSD card up to 512GB, the expandable RAM on the DT1 Lite reaches a maximum of 7GB compared to the DT1’s 8GB.
The camera system on the DT1 Lite is also more modest. It sports a 13MP rear main camera with a depth sensor, while the front-facing camera has 5 megapixels. These numbers fall short compared to the DT1’s 48MP main rear camera and 16MP front camera. Additionally, the DT1 Lite features a slower 10W fast charger compared to the DT1’s 18W fast charger.
Despite these trade-offs, the DT1 Lite retains the core functionalities of a rugged tablet with a long-lasting 11,000mAh battery and support for various network connectivity options and navigation systems. It comes in black and orange colors, offering a choice for users who prioritize affordability and durability over top-of-the-line specs. The table below contains the full specifications of the DT1 Lite rugged tablet.
