The Hammer Blade 4 is the direct successor to the Hammer Blade 3, and like it predecessor, the device is built robust to withstand extreme outdoor use. But unlike the older model, the Blade 4 has a bigger and better screen, better CPU, larger battery, better camera system, among other upgrades.

The device features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 405 PPI, and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Blade 4 runs on Google Android 12 and uses the MediaTek MT6779V Helio P95 chipset, which includes an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB using the SIM 2 slot.

The phone’s camera system includes a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro lens. The front camera has a 24MP sensor. Both cameras can record 1080p video at 30fps.

The Blade 4 is designed to withstand tough conditions, with IP68, IP69K, and Mil-STD-810G ratings for water, dust, and drop resistance up to 1.5 meters. The phone measures 172.07 x 83.82 x 12.9 mm and weighs 280 grams. It has a hybrid dual SIM setup for Nano-SIM and dual stand-by.
