This is the Hammer Construction 2 Thermal 5G, a rugged outdoor smartphone equipped with advanced thermal imaging capabilities. It retains the robust design of its sibling, the Construction 2 5G, with an IP69K rating and MIL-STD-810H certification, ensuring resistance to dust, water up to 20 meters for 30 minutes, and drops from 1.5 meters.

The Construction 2 Thermal 5G features a 6.58-inch IPS touch screen with a 1080 x 2408 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It operates on Google Android 14 and is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 6300 chipset, with an octa-core processor and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The Thermal Edition differs from the standard Construction 2 5G with its enhanced camera capabilities: a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a thermal lens with 160×120 pixel resolution by Flir. The selfie camera is also upgraded to 32MP from 8MP.

The device includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via an SD card. Both models support multiple 4G and 5G bands, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band WiFi, NFC, and have a USB Type-C port.

The Thermal Edition, like its predecessor, is equipped with a 6500mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging and 15W wireless charging which is absent on the non-thermal model. The phone is available in Red and also includes a built-in laser range finder.
