Kyocera DuraSport 5G
The Kyocera DuraSport 5G is a rugged smartphone designed for the U.S. market, compatible with select network providers. It works with T-Mobile and all its MVNOs like Boost Mobile, TracFone etc, as well as Metro, Mint Mobile and Consumer Cellular. It’s also available through UScellular (model C6931) and Verizon (model C6930), but it does not support AT&T, Cricket, or networks outside the U.S.
The phone meets IPX5/IPX8 and MIL-STD-810H standards, making it resistant to dust, water, and drops up to 1.5 meters. It’s lightweight at 185 grams with a compact body of just 9.9mm, instead of the Kyocera DuraForce Ultra that weighs 278 grams and comes in a whooping 16mm body.
Key features include a 6.1-inch IPS LCD screen with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, protected by scratch-resistant glass, a Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB with an SD card.
The DuraSport 5G has a dual rear camera setup on the rear: a 48MP main sensor and a 16MP ultrawide lens, while a single 8MP selfie sensor is used on the front. It supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-band Wi-Fi, with a rear fingerprint sensor for security.
