Oukitel BT101
The Oukitel BT101 military rugged smartwatch, announced and released in June 2024, is designed for durability and outdoor use. As the direct successor to the BT80, the BT101 retains key rugged features while offering some upgrades along with a smaller battery.
The smartwatch has an IP68 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification for protection against dust, shock, and water. It is waterproof up to 10 meters (1ATM) and resistant to scratches and drops. The temperature certification ranges from -30°C to +70°C, making it suitable for extreme environments like deserts, polar regions, and high-altitude areas.
The BT101 features a 2.02-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 390 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 250 PPI. The display is protected by scratch-resistant glass, though the specific type is still not specified. The smartwatch operates on an unspecified OS compatible with Android 9.0+ and iOS 9.0+, and is powered by the RealTek RTL8763EWE-VP CPU, paired with 256MB of memory.
The BT101 introduces Bluetooth 5.3, offering improved connectivity and efficiency over its predecessor. It supports A2DP and Bluetooth call capabilities. Navigation options include A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS. The watch is equipped with an accelerometer, gyro, barometer, compass, heart rate monitor, and SpO2 sensor.
Despite having a smaller non-removable 410mAh Li-Po battery compared to the BT80, the BT101 maintains long-lasting usage up to 15-days. The smartwatch is available in black and green colors.
