he Ruggex Rugg3 is a rugged smartphone designed with durability in mind. It is built to withstand harsh conditions with an IP68 rating, making it dust resistant and water-resistant for up to 1 meter for 60 minutes. It can also survive drops of up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) thanks to its MIL-SPEC-810G certification.

The Rugg3 comes in a black and orange color scheme and has a 4.0-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 quad-core 1.3 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded further via a microSD card, but this will take up the space for a second SIM card.

On the camera front, the Rugg3 features a single 8MP rear camera with PDAF and a 1.2MP front-facing camera. The rear camera can also record videos in 720p resolution at 30 fps. Connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, FM radio, and USB Type-C. The phone runs on Google Android 4.4 (KitKat) and is powered by a removable 2800mAh Li-Po battery
