The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (I9295 and I537) is a rugged version of the standard Galaxy S4. The models should not be confused with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active LTE-A, which is sold in South Korea, and come with better CPU and camera the the standard S4 Active.

But both variations still feature a 5-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood, you are getting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with four cores clocked at 1.9 GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM. This is different from the Snapdragon 800 used on the South Korean variant mentioned above.

For capturing photos and videos, the Galaxy S4 Active is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera (13MP for the LTE-A model) with autofocus and LED flash, capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.

Additionally, there is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The device runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and offers 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.

Just as the name suggests, the Galaxy S4 Active is IP67 certified, meaning it is resistant to dust and water immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This durability makes it suitable for activities like hiking, camping, and water sports. The device is also equipped with a 2600mAh Li-Ion battery, and available in Urban Grey, Dive Blue, Orange Flare colors.
