The Sonim XP5s is a great choice for those looking for a rugged button phone. The phone was announced back in 2018 featuring a 2.64-inch display, and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 427 quad-core CPU. It came with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, and runs AOSP Android 8.1 based on Sonim OS out of the box.

The Sonim XP5s was among the first phone to use Corning Gorilla Glass 1 for advance screen protection. It comes with IP68 certification and it is dust and water resistant up to 1.5 meter for 30 minutes.

Although the phone does not have a selfie camera, but it comes with a 5-megapixel snapper on the rear. The device also comes with three microphone system aimed at improved audio recording, and it also has a large 100dB loudspeaker for better sound output.

Keeping the phone alive is a 3180mAh battery, and it charges over USB Type-C. Like many other rugged Sonim phones, the XP5s comes with XPand Interface, SB-C, Sonim SecureAudio Connector, Charging Pins, and Dual Nano SIM Slots.
