The Sonim XP8 is an ultra-rugged, mission-critical smartphone built for extreme outdoor users. This tough phone is water and dust-proof, drop and impact-resistant, weather-proof, and chemical-resistant. It is one of the highly rated durable phones from Sonim.

The XP8 is also ATEX/IECEx Zone 2* certified, and can be used in hazardous work environment with temperature as low as -4°F (or -20°C), to as high as 131°F (or 55°C). The device also supports PTT (Push To Talk), and it is HAC (Hearing Aid Compatible).

Apart from the usual USB Type-C interface, the Sonim XP8 also comes with a dedicated Xpand PIN interface, and a Secure Audio interface, allowing you to attach external accessories like a remote speaker microphone which are useful for military men, police officers, construction workers and engineers.

Moving on to some of its key specifications, the Sonim XP8 comes with a 5.0-inches IPS screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, has 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution, and is powered by the Snapdragon 630 octa-core CPU from Qualcomm.

The phone has a single 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel on its back and front, and it is available in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM.
