Hammer Launches Blade Va 5G Rugged Smartphone with 6000mAh Battery
Hammer has officially launched the Blade Va 5G, a more compact and affordable version of its rugged Blade V 5G smartphone. It is designed with durability and performance in mind, just like it predecessor. The device offers users a solid set of features while maintaining a lower price point compared to its predecessor.
Althouth there are downgrades here and there to accommodate the new price point. For example, starting from the display, the Blade Va 5G features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. In comparison, the Blade V 5G comes with a slightly larger 6.6-inch display and a higher resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, along with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Blade Va 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via the SIM2 slot. On the other hand, the Blade V 5G uses the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset and offers double the storage with 256GB. Both devices support 5G connectivity and run on Android operating systems, with the Va model running the latest Android 14.
In terms of cameras, the Blade Va 5G is equipped with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the Blade V 5G includes a 50MP main camera and an 8MP night vision camera. The front camera on the Blade Va 5G has an 8MP sensor, compared to the 16MP selfie camera found on the Blade V 5G.
Another notable difference is the battery capacity. The Blade Va 5G comes with a larger 6000mAh battery, compared to the 5000mAh battery on the Blade V 5G. But both devices support 18W fast charging and reverse charging capabilities.
As with the Blade V 5G, the Blade Va 5G is built to withstand harsh environments. It holds an IP68/IP69K rating for water and dust resistance, and meets MIL-STD-810G military standards for durability, ensuring protection against drops from heights of up to 1.5 meters.
