Sonim XP100 4G Now Available in Europe, Tagged at €99
Sonim’s rugged feature phone, the XP100, is now available for purchase in Europe following its official announcement at the IFA event in Berlin last September. The XP100, priced at €99, has been spotted on Deutsche Telekom’s website, confirming its availability in Germany. This release aligns with Sonim’s commitment to making the device available in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The Sonim XP100 is built for users who need a tough, reliable device. It boasts key specifications designed to withstand harsh environments. The phone meets IP68/IPX9K and MIL-STD-810H standards, making it resistant to water, dust, and drops from up to 1.8 meters. Its compact design measures 145 × 62 × 16.2 mm and weighs 165 grams, while the 2.4-inch TFT display offers a resolution of 240 x 320, protected by scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass.
The XP100 supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, covering a wide range of LTE bands, including Band 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, and 41. This makes it versatile for users in Europe and potentially in other regions where these bands are supported.
The phone is powered by a Unisoc T127 single-core processor running at 1.0GHz and comes with 64MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD. It includes a 2MP rear camera, a removable 1800mAh battery, and useful features like Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, and a dedicated torchlight.
